Remember I was thinking of getting one, but I guess i will probably end up waiting another year or 2 to let them get better bigger and cheaper.
In any case it was describing how the mitibushi youguys recommended does so well (i.e. low response times)

It says that they change the voltage more than they should ahead of time, and then back to what they should be to accelerate the pixel change, and that due to the way it works any manufacturer could incorporate this into their LCD screens.
So in otherwords it is not actually a breakthrough in the manufacturing, but in the application, which of course means that manufacturing breakthroughs when they occur, can be further helped along by this technique.
