This looks like sooooo much fun. And it looks like they fixed up the framerate for 60fps too. Definitely a lot better than the first videos as well as the build they had at CES.
Isn't there supposed to be a mode where you could just go around killing zombies without worrying about the missions?

What multiplayer?
I like the animations so far.

CAPCOM PLEASE MAKE IT COOP!!!!
In this week's preview, the graphics looks much better than the demonstration at Tokyo Game Show. The pedestrian graphics were the biggest complaint about the game at Tokyo Game Show; now they look amazing.
They're using that motion-blurring a little more than is perhaps necessary, though hey, anything to please the people. The new preview shows bosses (a crazed gun-shop owners who's, um, not a zombie; a clown with a chainsaw in each hand; a blood-soaked pot-bellied, butcher) new areas (the hero standing atop a battletank in the mall parking lot), and a potential alternate character (a girl), and also shows some clever weapon possibilities -- pick up a traffic cone and drop it on a zombie's head! Now he can't see! Or push a shopping cart full of knives!! There are also hints at online play as well. And Keiji Inafune's name is riding high on this all.
Please, dear reader, if you, at any point in the past, have written Dead Rising off as "a zombie game," you still have time to reconsider: its release date has been changed from May 2006 to "2006." It is, yes, for Xbox 360.
