Q: How long has the Revolution been in development?

A: Preliminary development on Revolution began shortly after the release of Nintendo GameCube.

therefore, it has been in development since around late 2001. the development cycle should be about 4 years, assuming Revolution is finished around late 2005. production should start in late 2005 or early 2006 at the latest.
