I spent that much.....?

Inside counter-dig. Epic said I shouldn't get a sports car because it's wasteful and I should take that money and donate to food banks.

Yeah, probably shouldnt have posted that in your thread. I hope you see that one is a business expense and the other one a personal one. Sorry again, on the extremely off-topic post.

Apologies for the slightly off-topic post, but us Brits are finally getting some BestBuy stores opening up here soon. Are they good places to shop for electronics? I keep on hearing them being mentioned by our American posters so I assume they must be doing something right.

Low prices and good stock. If they follow the US model the sales staff will have similar electronic knowledge to a terrier or border collie.

I hate it. It's good if you know exactly what you're looking for, because the prices are ok. But I prefer to spend a little bit extra and buy from a local business. The people that work in Best Buy usually don't know much about what they're selling.

We got all the tvs at a big discount, apperantly 100 dollars over cost, although I woulndt put it past them to fudge their numbers. What was interesting was that their wall mount which sells for 200 dollars, they gave it for 55 and he still said they would make a profit from it.

I think we got 1300 dollars in reward points.Planning on using that to buy the last tv we need.

Can you actually haggle in Best Buy? I wouldn't have thought so. Usually you can only haggle in places where people work on commission.

Another question I've been meaning to ask ... where the hell do you work that you need so many TVs?

When you have a big order like that, they will change their prices.

Its for a motel. Upgrading our TVs from 25-27 inch to 37-46 inch ones.
