That's fine, although FWIW, Tahir, I don't hold any ill-feeling toward you, and from your posts it's generally obvious that you're a pretty stand-up guy. It's just that your views on Israel--although unfortunately shared by a lot of people--are skewed beyond any sense of objectivity.

You're almost certainly right that any discussion on the issue is unlikely to reconcile our views at all. That's why I decided not to address the statement in detail, but rather just to point it out as (IMO) self-evidently wrong.
