History is in the making

MOTHERF**K!

I can't get the damn msn streaming video thingy to work... Screw you bill gates, how bout making your software work it's supposed rather than trying to land your friggin helicopter in Italian volcano craters huh???

bbc worked better 4 me, apart from the appalling camera work,, think it was some bloke with a handycam...

was a *very* neat landing , ,

WAY TO GO OLD BLOKE !!!!!!!!

did find it funny that when talking about the 2nd chase plane, they didnt know anything about the alphajet though. . wonder where it's from ;)

Yeah the MSNBC coverage wasn't worth diddly. I tried running both MSNBC and the BBC RAM stream -- it hard-locked my machine. I stuff with the Beeb stream because it wasn't trying to sell my American car polish.

Quite an achievement by Rutan et al.

Maybe Paul Allen should be investing his billions in some debugging tools :)

colleague had the msnbc working , so i guess it was just getting hammered .

eeek ! "i got very scared when i heard a big bang back there"

w-t-f . . might be some interesting footage from the onboard video !!

Well, sort of good I guess to hear MSN's coverage sucked, because I couldn't get the damn thing to friggin work. ;)

Anyway, thanks for the links, no_way. The first one reported something that made me laugh: "Here's a copy editor for whom the president's new initiative can't come a moment too soon. The San Francisco Chronicle says that SpaceShipOne made it all the way to the atmosphere. [Hat tip to Orbital Mind-Control Laser]"

Woo. That's great, all the way to the atmosphere! That's way higher than they expected, right???

I drove out to Mojave from San Diego last night to enjoy my new car :) . That thing looks even more exotic in person.
