Does anyone has the sales number of HDTVs sold worldwide? How many were CRT/LCD/Plasma etc?

Yeah was actually thinking about picking up the Panasonic TH-42PX500U today in the wake of all the Xbox hype. But prices are sure to drop some more in '06 so I might wait a bit.

The westinghouse 32" LCD got good reviews actually and it was $800.00 last week, that is getting to a price I like rapidly.

i was finally able to get myself a hdtv. got myself this 30'' sony hdtv for $699. i was nervous about going cheap on hdtv before since i was afraid of getting what i paid for in less than spectacular picture quality but heard nothing but great things from this hdtv.
