Google is slow!

I set up a domain and website the other day. They still have not crawled it. Actually it was at least a week ago. Closer to two weeks.

They say they index the new google userpages in hourse. Yet it's near two weeks and if I search the words in my domain name, nothing comes up. Plus last I checked no robots were in my site traffic.

Terrible. Google is slow.

I take it you did actually submit your domain to Google?

No I did not. I'm waiting for them.

Google claims google userpages get no special treatment and yet will get crawled "in hours".

I also remember another guy amazed how fast they indexed his site a while ago.

But not me..

Pick a forum that Google has already indexed and add a link to your website. That should trigger an index for your site.
