JoyFreak is some crappy gaming forum that's just like ResetEra, but 1000 times less popular.
Now, not to be bitter, but I didn't think the site was bad to begin with. At least, not for a while. I signed up there a few years ago, and have since submitted many posts. It's one of the few forums I made a lot of posts on in recent years, to be honest.
Anyway, this member came there to be annoying ages ago. He only posted a few times. Some nasty as hell Australian guy that regularly acts like a total creep, and never stops bothering me on other sites. I've had reports to the police in Western Australia fall on deaf ears, because they said they have no "jurisdiction" to deal with him, since I'm from the UK. Yet I have officially known this guy since 2004, because I identified him as someone from old forums I was on back then.
He particularly does this trolling on dead forums, where he can just spam my personal information and pictures without consequence. Like some site for anxiety topics. And he had posted insults about my mother's kidney failure, from back in the spring.
All of 36 years old too, so this behaviour is highly dumb!
Well, I told the admin clearly that this guy is trouble, legitimately abuses me, and what did he do? Zilch. However, the troll in question was really just using the account to log in to search for my posts (since I made my profile private) and he uploaded a picture of my friend's face to look like a black, 70's disco dude, or something. Again, real immature.
He got banned a few months ago, but can somehow still do searches. I've concluded the admin doesn't give a damn either. I'd sent him an email recently to challenge his lack of moderating, but I more or less was told to piss off. Now the troll is back on there, with another account. The name is his old one too, just put in reverse. It's definitely him. He posts little clues in the form of key words in his posts, because he knows I have a Resident Evil thread on there. Like, he is somebody that can pretend to be a nice person, but it's actually deceptive.
Anyway, after the Summer Game Fest, I will have to terminate all of my memberships everywhere. Not delete them, as well, you cannot really easily fulfill that. It's probably the only option now, but in general, I was losing interest in a lot of inactive gaming message boards anyway. And when I report YouTube videos he steals or edits to mock me, Google doesn't do a thing either. If he sees I've signed up again, he subscribes and leaves his profile unmarked.
It's hard to believe he is truly 36. It really is sad. This is stalking. There should be laws about doing that online...
