Competition, especially from someone as big as Google, is always welcome. In the end it will push MS to get their heads out of their asses and increase quality throughout.

That report is a little lax. It doesn't mention that they also headhunted a lot of guys from Sun, and than means also from the Mozilla camp. There's more than just ex-MS guys moving to Google and planning a little browser revolution.

There was a bug report filed in Mozilla that had something to do with "A duplicate of a private bug working with google".

A firefox based google browser is sounding very nice. Hopefully it won't have ads like Opera.

Call it intuition but, I think a Google browser would be ad free... We'll see what happens I suppose.
