God of War 2: Divine Retribution (PS2)

OMG I think I just pissed my pants.:oops: Damnit Sony I hope the "GOW2 coming on PS3 too" rumour will come true too. Maybe Jaffe is working on the PS3 edition?:oops:

Jaffe is working on a PSP title currently.

I doubt there is a PS3 version of GoW2 and I'd wonder how necessary it'd be. I'll be happy to pick this up and play it on my PS3.

All it means is that GoW on PS3 is likely now to be a late 08 title, probably.
 
as much as i liked God of War, i dont see how there can be a sequel, unless they come up with some real cheesy story line...imho, the first one seemed like it sealed the series the way it ended...regardless, i will probably still pick up the 2nd one

Go watch the extra videos now that you beat the game. It will hint you too what the sequel might be about.
 
You guys do know that Steve at [H] put up a detailed review of this game, right? Lots of screens and very favorable review - especially the story line.

you know what, admittedly, i never watched the extras (im not too big on extras unless its an alternate ending), i just moved onto another game that i hadnt finished at the time...

i need to get out of the habit of buying new games before completing a previous game
or at least letting myself complete the previous game before i start a new one

Oh okay that's cool. Some of your questions will be answered after you watch them.;) I will rewatch them now that I know it's coming on the PS2 for real.

assuming that you are referring to the front page of [H], the review is of GoW1 not 2

I was just saying what I heard on another forum. I never even read the issue. Sorry if I caused any problems.....

Loosing vsync is an image quality issue as far as I'm conserned, but thankfully the game only does so occasionaly.

U kidding? Now that Kratos has god-like powers? They will either have a super powered Kratos, or they'll take the powers off him for some cheesy reason, and he has to get them back, or there will be an all new hero that has to defeat Kratos... There's so many possibilities...
