I'm looking for ways to supplement my income so that I can get one of those shiny new Mercedes SLK55's and came accross a website (plugusinforcash.com) that claims to pay $0.01 per month for each person you sing up bla bla bla 7 levels bla bla bla. doesnt cost anything, you jsut have this adware on your computer. if you get like 800,000 people under you that adds up to some real money. oh yeah you get paid when people under you buy crap also. but whatever.

so, this thing sounds... well... off. i think i could actually get enough people to sign up (without using spam or bots, i hate those!) but i seriously question the validity of the offer. this just doesnt seem right...

well, I think that the "too good to be true" part is how easy they mnake it seem. I have no dillusions about how much work it would require to get a significant number of people signed up. I'm just wondering if the whole scheme has sound economic base. (and, if not, anyone else have any suggestions? :p )

A paper route would get you more cash, and you'd feel a whole lot better earning it that way.

I've worked some jobs I just hated because I felt like I was screwing people, it's a great luxury not to have to do that anymore.

That's because you don't have a job. ;)

Realistically, you might get 100 people, maybe 200 if you spam? What's that, two bucks a month....

not worth it imho

you severely underestimate me...

i dont have time for a paper route in the mornings. and how much would a person make on a paper route? surely not much.

and i dont feel at all like im screwing people with this... they're making money too. and im helping them by singing more people up that will go under them. so it's a win-win deal... which is why it seems fishy

Sounds like a pyramid selling scheme. They're illegal here in Australia. What are the laws about it over there.

yes, pyramid *selling* schemes are illegal here too. but, you aren't selling anything. you aren't buying anything. you just have the software on your comp that pops up adverts for various companies. you're getting paid to view advertisements and to sign other people up for advertisements. you also get paid when people buy things from their advertisers, just like, say, the affiliate program run by Amazon... only rather than people clicking the link from your site, it's people that you got to sign up to view the advertising.

Same thing. Just a different spin on it. I wouldn't have much respect for my friend if they tried to sign me up. It's just another AMWAY anyway you spin it.

You can probably hit the thousands, but if you REALLY spam. And IMHO that's juts bringing your level down to the spammers that we all hate so much. ;) And that for a few bucks at the end of the months?

I apoligize for underestimated you, I don't know how determined you're planning to be.

I'm also a bit bitter because of the whole principal of this. I don't think we should be trying to encourage spam.
