Where's the option for having all the consoles and HDTV?
are you sure about that? i have yet to see ANY HDTV that doesn't support 1080i.Currently i have an 32" lcd and a 360. I got my first 360 around launch time, sold it for profit then got a new one a month and a half ago. i'm happy a happy next gen gamer again
me and my wife are both looking for a wii since the launch but no luck so far
was considering ps3 untill i found out that it does not output 720p as a blu-ray player. ( my tv's max output is 720p)

As long as your TV has a good de-interlacer...If your 720P can accept and downscale a 1080i signal then you are ok.
most sets have an adequate deinterlacer. As long as your TV has a good de-interlacer...

Sorry, I was being argumentative. For the most part, and the vast majority of people, I agree with you both.I'm not sure it matters for 24fps movies.
