And lets not forget ... Under A Killing Moon and the Pandora Directive. Classic detective / PI games. Sega's Shenmue could have really benifited from copying some of the ideas in these games

I loved that game. It even had James Earl Jones in it...

Indeed ... And he played God! ... it was pure Genius! Used to love finding shredded letters in the rubbish bins and having to put the pieces back together to find your next clue.

Used to hate the way you had to change cd's every 5 minutes though.

Another goodie...

Megalomania had fantastic speech. The only downside was the abysmal last level, which was extremely boring compared to the rest of the game

I had a a sudden craving this morning for some 16 bit goodness after looking at this article:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-retro-bit-super-retro-trio-review

So fired up the snes emulator and started F-Zeor just for a little taste, but it's so fricken good I can't stop playing it now and will probably end up clocking the whole thing. They really don't make them like this any more. I really do think that the 16bit era was the golden age of gaming. But then maybe that's just nostalgia talking.

I searched for the console on amazon.co.uk after reading the same review :)
