There are so many more I know I'm missing, but these are the only ones I can remember playing right now that really stood out.

Huge videogamer all my life. :)

Axelay (SNES)

One of the few games I desperately wanted to play and never got a chance to. Kept blowing all my money in the arcades. :)

This will be one of the first games I dial up from the Revolution Virtual Console.

Best Mega Man game ever imo.

By far (2, 3, 1 in that order, if you ask me!). The comically inaccurate box art (for NA at least) is also great. Mega Man was some dude in blue tights with a gun in his hand - Hah.

My favourite classic games are :
Forbidden Forest
Gridrunner/Matrix
Impossible Mission
Jinn Genie
Elevator
Falcon Patrol
(all C64)

Underrated:

The properties for the image named it ...wb3a, which I took to be WonderBoy 3, seeing the similarities of the graphics. Of that series I played a few and WBiML was best. Maybe your game is from a different series that just looked similar?

Ok. Here we go. :)

from http://en.wikipedia.org

"Wonder Boy in Monster Land (Monster World: Super Wonder Boy in Japan, also known as Super Monster World: Super Wonder Boy in some North American versions and Super Wonder Boy in Monsterland for the Activision conversions) is a 1987 arcade game developed by Westone and published by Sega. It is the sequel to the 1986 game Wonder Boy."

"Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap (Monster World II Dragon No Wana in Japan) is a 1989 platform game by Sega and Westone. This game is a direct sequel to Wonder Boy in Monster Land and starts in the final lair of the previous game."

Theres a first wonderboy, obviously. And two sequels 4 and 5 named Monster World. Theres also a Wonderboy III: Monster lair, which apparently is more of a shoot-em-up.
This should hopefully clear things up. :)

I like both WBiML and the related sequel The Dragon's Trap. I think I played the first one but didn't like it much.

I never played the dragon one. From the screenies WBiML actually looks better IMO, as though I'd expect that to follow the dragon, going by visuals alone.

Fond memories of Delta Force as well. I believe it was one of the first to have dedicated online FPS servers. Loved 40 or 50 person capture the flag in that game, was absolutly fantastic.

No photos for this but Bolo was the first network game for the mac, or at least one of the first. It's a tank game.
