If it's true, then yikes!

Sweet Jesus, a meganertz? That's, like, a nillion times faster than a megahertz!

Sweet specs. PC gaming rigs have a lot to live up to.

Memory
-512 MB GDDR3 RAM
- 700 MNz DDR

That would be 1400MHz effective GDDR3 but the bandwidth figure would then imply only 128bit memory bus ??? :?:

Hmmm, I could of sworn I saw a 40Gb drive size on a pic awhile back. Ill try to dig up the pic. (Although its very like it could of been altered)

Could someone break down the CPU Math Performance 9billion per dot formula. Its been awhile since ive seen it :)

Otherwise looks promising if this is accurate. E3 will hopefully provide and confirm the numbers. A week until I see it :devilish:

Yummy - why buy an X900 or G70? :D

Because I don't like consoles and need a keyboard+mouse for gaming?
Then you're missing out on a whole lot of fun.

Games-wise, maybe. But there is really not a smallest amount of fun there with a gamepad in my hands, trust me. Regardless of the game. I hate those thingies.

Seconded and signed. Hence why I've never bought one.

Hi Rev .. I too am a keyboard and mouse fan .. and if the XBox 2 has it then i'll buy it. It's one of the reasons why i've never bought a PS2 or Xbox before .. although the only other reason i'd buy a PS2 for would be GT3 and GT4.

I played Quake 2 with my brother on the PS2 and hated the controller bigtime.

Only other reason to buy a console would be fo rthe DVD functionality.

Your view of gaming is too narrow and FPS or RTS specic. If you play a fighting game, platform game, racing game, or sports game, the mouse and keyboard are actually inferior controls.

There is more to gaming than just twitch-FPS gaming.

I prefer a mouse / keyboard as well and I've heard this from just about every pc gamer I know, so the million dollar question is why doesn't the x-box support a mouse / keyboard.

It seems to me that it would be pretty easy to add one and they would attract more of the Pc gaming crowd.
