That was to say that I get 70 (on both OS X and Windows XP) when i first load the page and then press ctrl+R. If I reload using the address bar or the reload button I always get 71.

I don't run Flashblock, but I've got AdBlockPlus

great, after upgrading to 3.0 my tab-plugin was uncompatible and all my tabs went poof.
FF still has to do something original, for me they are just the ones that emulate Opera riding the horse of "look we are OSS". And colaborating on non-standart features like with Google. Trying to do as OSS IE (i.e. standarts are nothing, we rool)
PS: restarted sevral times, clicked on "get addons" and :
It suggest to get "Fast Dial" which is "bla-bla.... like Opera Speed dial" and "Fire gestures" - "customizeable mouse gestures" - tho this time no credits ...oh, and I have to download Ad Block too... how funny that some other browsers have such abilities OOB

PPS: "paste and go" is really needed when pasting links with a mouse

I just got Vista64 the other day & after installing FF3 I do not get asked to remember passwords. I know its supposed to be in the bar this time as it works fine on all the XP comps here. Anyone else having this issue?
Edit: All the Adblock guys. Do you use the "Filterset G updater" as well?
Edit again. Since Tab Mix Plus does not work with FF3 yet, you would think FF3 would have built in the option to load the home page on new tab open. Sigh!

Firefox was always supposed to be a lightweight browser core that could be made extensible with addons. You may want one particular feature, but if everyone wants something different then soon you're back to a giant monolithic program where everything is built-in and nothing is easily extensible because every change breaks something else.
There's a complete ecosystem of addons so you can make FF exactly the browser you want it to be. It's not like the Mozilla people are going to bundle the fuctionality covered by thousands of addons into the base program. Sure, it's behind the curve for a few weeks as everyone updates to the new release, but there's no reason to think all the popular addons won't be updated for FF3 in the next month.
Complaining that you have to download an addon to get exactly the specialised functionality you desire is like complaining that you have to choose which flavour ice-cream and what toppings you want when you go into Baskin-Robbins. Only you don't even have to pay for FF or it's addons.

I got this and it works decent. If you set it to allow all scripts can you then just disable ones on annoying web pages later?
I like to do it that way b/c it makes life easier and similar to adblock I don't want to punish responsible websites by removing their ad revenue if they do their ads in a non intrusive way. I will just set it and try, but I thought I would ask as well.

I just updated to FF3 and was dismayed to find that "Google Browser Sync" doesn't work. Sigh!
Google decided to kill the project basically...
Still, you have the Mozilla Weave plugin... soon enough it should be usable and stable enough for daily use.

True, but I could not stand having my Firefox without it... I might have grown accustomed to its quirks...
I need to check foxmarks out, Mozilla Weave seems to be improving really quickly lately, check this out:

Not sure if you were referring to me, but if so. FF already supports opening the browser to a home page & already supports tabs. It seems more common sense to give the option to load the home page on new opened tabs which is the only real reason I use Tab Mix Plus.

What i don't like is the fact that it broke my flash reader plug-in.
Tried updating it directly from Adobe, but no luck.
Certain flash-heavy websites look as if they are just "stuck", and will only work properly in IE7.

Ahh, the dreaded "flash hangs with Firefox".
There are several fixes around, but the only one that worked for me is installing the flash 10 beta, and/or having to manually copy the flash plugins into the FF plugins directory (which the flash installer doesn't seem to do).
If the above doesn't work, I can post a registry fix for XP that resets a lot of the multimedia settings that might work. For some strange reason on my system it was only a temp fix, but I could never work out what was resetting things until I discovered copying the flash plugins to the FF plugins subfolder seemed to fix it.
If none of that works you're stuck with using something like IE Tab to switch rendering engines in FF, which is clunky at best.
