Final Fantasy XV [XO, PS4, PC]

Yep, what I saw in the demo was not higher framerate but framepacing issues in HQ, d'oh. I thought they will get rid of it in time for the realease.

More pics incoming later today, didn't have much time to play over weekend.
Ah thank you :), I see the higher res and much better AF here for sure.

the combat is fun ! The only thing is I cannot see when to dodge due to so many things on screen, but otherwise its very fun !
Not sure about the structure of the game, though, but it does feel like a final fantasy game through and through.

Yeah, it's almost like they need to make compromises to do it realtime.

m'kay? ... I suppose you like the look of the ingame hair, otherwise your sarcastic reaction makes no sense. Did you see it in motion? It creates weird interaction with backgrounds around their heads, on the Pro it's somewhat better in quality mode.

My sarcastic response was directed at you comparing realtime generated hair to pre-rendered hair.

And did I. I posted some pics from the demo and made vague statement about ingame hair. Sorry, my English isn't very good so it wasn't very elaborate.

I didn't make close up hair/fur comparison when I had the demo, so there is at least something (Lightweight and Quality mode comparison on the PS4 Pro)

5 hours into the game

this game is not polished enough
* inconsistent camera fluidity outside of battle (sometimes the camera do hard cuts, sometimes its as smooth as MGSV)
* interlacing in 1 video (why? O_O)
* all videos doesn't have enough bitrate (no disk space left?)
* the framerate (or frame pacing?) feels much less smooth than other 30 fps games
* so many little weird glitch, bug, design decisions to mention.

its as if im playing Bethesda games lol

Apparently the best version is the Pro Lite version which is basically locked 30fps without frame-pacing issues during gameplay.

For now it's Pro Lite > PS4 > Pro high

Um, I think I'm one of those people who are entirely immune to the effect of frame pacing:), I honestly can't see crap in that comparison or what's so bad about Pro's frame pacing. Frame stutter, LOD pop ins or fluctuating frames I get but not this. Probably not hardcore enough to notice.

Loving it so far. Not perfect by any means but it's really a labour of love.

Playing on Wait mode is basically the only way for me.
