So Kingsglaive has premiered in Japan last night. I have to say I'm quite excited, even though we've only had a small part in this movie. If anyone has seen it, can't wait to hear your impressions

Tech demo on PC from SIGGRAPH

Duscae Area, hopefully that means a PC version is in the works. Game looks really nice with a stable framerate + at native res. Best animated hair I've seen in any game to date.

Can't they keep all of them and run it at 720p on ps4? Instead of lowering the visual quality just to keep 1080p

The PS4 demo is not 1080p if I remember well. It is dynamic resolution.

Call me crazy but I'm gonna virgin play this on the Neo at 1080p, no way I'm subjecting myself to dynamic res, poor AA and bad LOD on the OG PS4.

Dang, I just realized that beautiful pc footage could be a tease for the neo version.

The game comes in September. So it's absolutely sure it will have neo mode

The demo had very unsatisfying IQ. I can't buy it with that. Also it needs to convince me with its gameplay too. I liked FF XIII and XIII-3 gameplay, liked XII too. But the demo one just had no sense of combat to it.

I guess the price for a complete "on disc game is that high nowadays....?

The game just have its master version a day before the two months delay announcement. So they would have 1 extra month for development, and 1 extra months for pressing discs and distributing it all around the world...

Or nowadays disc can be pressed and shipped in a week? With no problem with partners inventory and in store promotion?

FFXV is a veeeeeery important game for Square. It looks like they don't want to take a risk of angering media/fans with a troubled code/big patch.

Good on them. The numbered FFs have always been polished to a high sheen right away. I think FF XIII is still on version 1.0.

dunno on PS3. but on xbox 360 and PC it have a few patches
