Not all of it was funny IMO (maybe because I haven't the first clue who this lady is, the only Brit TV chefs I know of are Nigella, Jamie Oliver and that wine-slurping whatsisface who died last year), but it had its moments here and there!

She's Sophie Dahl who is Roald Dahl's (James Bond scripts, BFG, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, and many others) granddaughter.

She started life as an outsize model, famous because of her big curves (in fact, the first job that made her well known, the photographer decided she wasn't curvy enough and photoshopped her even bigger). She lost a lot of weight and became a regular model. She then converted to the TV chef thing, trying somewhat too hard to emulate that Nigella food-n-sex combination, and the series was roundly panned - she crashed and burned on the TV.
