41 minutes!?!?! Some people have too much free time.

One for cat owners (although a colleague says it doesn't give a true account of the amount of violence involved)

I'm not sure if I'm more depressed because there are people like that, or that I'm not one of them. :runaway:

So? More eyewitness reports. Call me when they have physical evidence, evidence that cannot be easily chalked up to rare occurrences and the fallibility of human memory.

It makes me a little crazy that "UNIDENTIFIED flying object" now equals "little green visitors from Andromeda".

Exactly. "We don't know what it was. But we know it was visitors from another world!" It's really an absurd argument.

What would really be evidence of life from another world would be, well, life from another world. Given what we know about life on Earth, it seems that a really easy piece of evidence to collect would be a tissue sample from a multicellular organism or a small colony of single-celled organisms. Such biological material could be trivially demonstrated to not be from Earth (since all life forms on Earth are one big happy related family).

Grainy pictures and blurry videos? I don't think so.
