By way of an update I have found out the probable issue with noise.
I have the falcon - the jasper is the quieter model. The way to tell is to check the sticker on the back - does it read 12.1a or 14.2a? Also on the PSU - is it 175w or 150w? and finally where the PSU plugs into the console, remove the plug - at the 'top' of the socket - do you have a single ____ of plastic 'strip' or a 'broken' one __ __ ?
12.1a + 150w + __ __ = Jasper
14.2a + 175w + _____ = falcon
