well watch this site i guess.

The cool thing though, i googled around and several sites have it code named it as FAFRacer. So now faf, when is my review copy arriving? 8)

I hope the game is just a BIT more impressive than that site... ;)

Damn, but some of the car and damage models are super-spiff, though! :D

I also want to buy the guy who modelled her (Mmm...) many beers. :D :D

Looks like only a Korean launch date, I wonder how long other regions will have to wait.

And yeah, that chick is damn great and really cool.

Basic design is pretty good overall (as with most developer sites) but has the same problem as usual--not enough seen about the game. It's like reading the game case or something. Bleh...

nice box art... reminds me somewhat of the burnout covers.

Fafalada, if you're reading this: where would you put Axel Impact between Burnout, Need for Speed, Ridge Racer or Gran Turismo? Judging by the little I have heard about the game, I'm guessing on a mix between Ridge Racer and Burnout, is that correct? More realistic than NFS, though much more accurate damage model and general arcade feel... :?:

BTW: congratulations, the game looks superb and I definately can't wait to check it out when it ships in Europe! 8)

That site is rather amusing, legend. When trying to take a look at screenshots, one is led to links to about a billion chick and cosplay pics as well! Heh...

So, is it too much to expect that it will have a better damage model than a year old game?

I mean really, its getting silly that Carmageddon 2 still kills everything else damage wise ;)

r u serious? u've been missing on some games lately then...

Sorry, I meant 5 year old game, and yes I'm mostly serious.

No game I hae seen lately has a damage model to the extent and flexibility of Carmageddon 2. Sure sparks fly and bits of crap fall off but play some C2 and you will see that is nothing.

Oh so now its a bit crap eh? The spiritual prequel to Gta III???

Look, once you bust out the cheats it becomes an excellent muck around game. You know, just do whatever you want, ultimate freedom to go anywhere and kill anything you want anyway you want.

Its great fun until you get tired of it (which can take a while). I'm sure all the GTAIII fans understand (and don't even think about mentioning the braindead missions :devilish: )

Maybe in development teams, but not in core gameplay.

There are some similarities, but you have too much of a mission (with puzzles) in Body Harvest for it to be a true "muck around game".

So body harvest was GTA with a good and noble purpose.
You got to control a multitude of vehicles. There were civilians to slaughter and buildings to destroy(though you were punished for doing so), you could freely walk around the towns, and I believe at least some of the bad level design in Body Harvest(why did they make the paths so small and easy to fall off to a watery doom, often putting enemies to give you a nudge?) made it into gta3....I can't really remember any places in vice city like that though.
