Exclusive Xbox 360 games from GTA creator

Uematsu is already doing the scores for both of the games. Like I said, he doesn't have the creative talent, but he knows how to get a team up and running that does.

Excellent news. His music played a large part in the appeal of the FF games. It's actually surprising that his involvement has not been mentioned more prominently in the promotion of these games.

I think part of the reason for that most people in the US really don't like RPGs all that much let alone RPGs + classical music... most are more interested in rock + rap soundtracks. Also, Uematsu is apparently trying to develop a different sound for these game... he said something along the lines of a more contempry and more pop-esque sound for these games... might turn fans off.

I thought the Lost Odyssey trailer music sounded a lot like his normal work. No clue if that was a new piece or old though.

Yeah, I got the same feeling as well... I easily spotted it as his music... however, he said he's trying to change the style... maybe its just PR, but that's what he said.

Well, I expect that Uematsu's involvment will raise some eyebrows in Japan anyway..

BTW, what is SoTB? I had a TG-16CD but that isn't ringing any bells.

Shadow of the Beast. A game that came out on the Amiga (the reason I bought an Amiga 500 actually - even upgraded the Agnus to a Fat Agnus - w00t!)

Had many layers of parallax scrolling (side scroller action game) and wonderful mod music. Got me into the demo/mod scene. Which is likely why Democoder's name is such - he was into it as well.

Ahh yeah, I remember that game.. and I guess I wasn't paying attention to all the posts on this thread either ;)

My TG-CD gaming was pretty much limited to the Y's games and Cosmic Fantasy 2, and Street Fighter (Fighting Street).

"It didn't take long. Today, Webzen and RTW announced that, yes, APB will indeed be released for the Xbox 360 in 2008, around one year after the PC version ships."
