Bungie made one of the best action games ever, Oni. In fact that's the only bungie game I own

I would comment on the Killzone debate but I don't care about FPS games, and, as a result, don't know much about them.

and if anyone pays attention the the Halo hype before it was released, no one thought it would explode like it did. So Bungie made a hit, but no one had faith in the title. So developer history does count in the pre-release hype..

I thought I remember Halo getting some serious E3 attention before MS bought Bungie. But then they probably showed actual gameplay footage.
