Embedding Videos

We've enabled a new forum-wide feature today that will let all users embed videos from YouTube, GameTrailers.com, and GameVideos.com. They basically all work in the same way (though they use different tags, obviously).

To embed a video, just grab the ID from the URL of the video you want, and put it between the new [noparse][/noparse] tags: [noparse]

GameTrailers and GameVideos work in the same way.

This is a very cool feature. A small requestion: Could Gamersyde.com be added? From what Blim has said is they are opening up a user feature to upload your own videos. They also tend to have long video streams of new material, a lot of it ingame. Here is some sample code.

I updated the thread in the Console Forum with the information about Gamersyde.

As I said there, I didn't know you guys allowed embedding, or else it would have been added from the start. ...And it would have definitely been added before that broken sad excuse of a site, Gamevideos.com.

I am sure you are joking... but if not, auto-play = bad for non-broadband users or people using bandwidth for other purposes while browsing.
