dvd burning software

i have a 25 pack of dvd's but for some reason nero ultra 6.3.0.3 doesnt like to burn on them, no matter what speed or type of file, and i have the latest firmware for my drive. However alcohol 120% does burn these dvd's but u can only burn images and i want to burn some xvid files onto a dvd to save some space.

So i was wondering if anyone knows of any good dvd burning software apart from the 2 i mentioned?

Someone gave me this link: http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ a while back, and I downloaded and tried an earlier version than the one that is out now. It ran fine on my NEC dual layer burner, I filled a DVDRW disc just as a test and it worked great. It's relatively intuitive to use and free too.
