UPS was here and dropped off the replacement LCD screen for my new computer - hopefully this one won't have dodgy USB ports. As it turns out, they did not automatically pick up the other screen; that is handled by a different company and who knows when THEY will get around to it. So until then I'll be playing around with two screens just to see what it's like.
I'm not too impressed so far I might add, because after I installed the second screen and extended the desktop to it, XP immediately decided to increase the spacing between desktop icons by A LOT. it also refuses to let me have any icons anywhere near the taskbar, and I can't adjust the icon spacing in the monitor properties applet either; it just quietly ignores whatever value I type in.
