Does this mean 360s CPU is not so good?

I am interpreting what was said as: When a download is in progress movies skip when playing. And the answer to that is a simple one (I guess). I see this when dling anime and trying to watch other videos off my server. From what I am able to tell it could have to do with heavy fragmentation and writing/reading from different parts of the disk. I believe it is called seek time...

Of course if I am wrong someone will correct me, and if that is not what the original poster meant, then I too am lost...

Nothing to do with the CPU in itself. Any CPU released today (especially one with 3 cores!) would play any kind of video flawlessly unless it's very high resolution which is obviously not the case here.

It can be anything, most likely a I/O problem, be it memory (HDD or RAM) or network. Like on most PCs today really.

I cant be the only one.Check if you can,DL the NHL demo then watch A Scanner Darkly in 720p.It skips so bad for me I cant bare to watch.

Something is definitely broken somewhere. I bet it's something to do with the hard drive.
All videos should play properly. If they don't, then there is something broken somewhere.

I've got the same problem here, noticed it last night when I tried to watch the Hell's Highway video. Gave up after a minute, it was unwatchable. It's gotta be a bug, because everything else works just fine. And it's not every video either, just the Hell's Highway and the Red/Blue ones.

I know there a Fall update for the dashboard coming soon, so I'll just wait and see what happens after that. I can stream HD fine from my MCE box, so not being able to watch a few trailers from Live doesn't really bother me that much.
