i dont have any intention of coding anything at the moment; i just want to read the docs.

The docs from DirectX 9 SDK are available as part of MSDN Online msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/dnanchor/html/anch_directx.asp, and if you just want to see D3D10 preview, see the [post=650804]post #14[/post] earlier in this thread.
