( hope this is in the correct forum ...)
Help please!
I recently upgraded to win2000 and now I have problems with Direct 3D.
Using the direct x v8.1b diagnostics I get a failure of the direct 3D component ... can you help please...
I am running win2000,upgraded from win 98, with 160 mb of ram, kyro 2 video card, virtual mem of 500mb,
pagefile of 240mb. over 3 gig of space free on C:
using Direct X 8.1b and test results show the following error message:
Direct3D test results: Failure at step 8 ( Creating 3D Device);
HRESULT=0x8007000e(Out of memory)
what do you suggest I do to sort it and be able to use my 3D acceleration once more?
thanks in adavance for any help.
Brian
