Why do PS360 and current-gen get different rewards/incentives? Seems arbitrary. Especially as levelling doesn't appear as much a concern to D3 players as finding Sweet Loot.

I bought the Diablo 3 PS4 edition cheap during BF PSN sales and just restarted it, this time coop with my GF and we are having a blast! Ha ha ha, playing for an hour or so, we already hit level 8 or so...completely different to my DA:I experience, where levelling was so slow.

Makes super fun. Really nice couch coop game imo.

Come to think of it, Dragon Age: Inquisition is actually fairly similar to Diablo for the majority of its running time. Diablo is just 10 times better because it's exceptionally good at what it does.

As far as I cna tell, its the best couch co op game out there. Even with casual players, its the best game to co op with.

I agree! It is pure fun and just addicting...we played straight till 2 am in the morning...now, I am dead and have to give a lecture

Ha ha ha, but we found our first legendary items...so exciting! My GF's barabarian is brutally strong...but my demon hunter is not bad either. We changed even to expert mode from hard mode to get more challenge...and finished the first boss without a sweat

Man, again, I am way overpowered!

I play together with my GF, she is a bavarian and I play as a demon hunter...we play on expert, which is the highest difficulty I can select from the start, and are just rushing through everything: just killed the warden in less than 15 seconds without even getting hurt.

As a sidegame, I play the witchdoctor, also on expert mode, and am now starting to get to the prison...again, I am overpowered as hell! I am running around with 3 dogs, one giant zombie, and during fight 3 small knife-goblins appear and join my fight. I can also cast a barrier wall of zombies that block all enemies from me..

My only complaint about this game: I wished that they let us select all difficulty levels from the start (and maybe give a recommendation which level you should be at to choose this difficulty).

When are the higher difficulties unlocked? When I reach a certain level, or when I finish the game once?

It's been so long since I first played D3, I don't remember not having access to difficulty levels. I know you should at least finish the game once to get access to everything. Master difficulty is the base level I play at generally until I'm a decent high level with a few legendaries, or I'm equipped with some high level legendaries at a low level thanks to lower req affix which is always Torment 1 or 2. Then as I gradually upgrade equipment I work my way up the Torment levels.

It felt the same with my Crusader too. The torment difficulty will unlock once u fidish the game. Uptill then Expert it is and IIRC you get to choose master once u get into act 5.I may be wrong,though. But yes, if you have your abilities set the way you want, you can plough through with eyes closed.
Actual strategy occurs only on Torment difficulties, the way I see it. I went till T2, not beyond that as I got my ass kicked above that . Would like to co op on higher difficulties for sure.

I just had a killstreak of 722 in a one of the rifts !!!!
Rifts are fun, short, very dense, crazy as hell chaotic fights ! The fact that my Crusader is an automatic life regenerating machine helps a lot !

That's a huge killstreak! I think the best I've ever done was around 350ish. I've found the graveyard Rifts are great for kill streaks.

Yes, I thought anything over 200 would be impossible but I was proven wrong. My best is around 170 or so.

I am paragon lvl 158 or so. Damage is 840k, toughness about 16mil.

Today I changed 1 skill and did T6 normal rifts and some bounties...crazy!!

But on T5/6 the PS4 can't handle it anymore it seems

I got one special item drop (The Grin Reaper Mask) for my WD and this boosted my overall level up to T4/T5. This helps grinding a lot and you get better and better pieces of armour.

I also finally got my last piece of Zunimassa set. Now my Fetish Army don't die anymore...I really want to try this out!

But at T6, if I am not careful...I die super fast!

What a coincidence, I came here to post exactly that what Destiny lacks over Diablo is the extensive gear that can be found and the mini game of finding a perfect set. In Destiny everyone looks the same once level cap hits, all raid gear. In diablo, you keep hunting for green items and keep looking for that perfect set to compiment the abilities you like to use.

The only downside is that most of the "wow" items I have been finding, with abilities that can change my playstyle , actually have very low stats compared to what I have been wiedling for quite some time. Which simply means that even if it has a superb special stat, it is unusable as it makes me too weak toi jump into T5 or 6.
