The XPS's are great machines; just don't expect stellar battery performance I just bought an Insprion e1505 with the T2300 processor and x1300 graphics. It's not the powerhouse that you have, but it's quite good for what I need in a mobile platform. However, I opted for the lesser ~55 watt/hour battery and it's not enough for me, providing only about 150 minutes of battery life with wireless enabled. I'm going back to buy the ~85whr one now

Still, great prices on the laptops, and great quality so far in my purchase. I'm quite happy, as I'm sure you will be too.

I picked up the Gen1 just a few days before they announced Gen2


I got the 7800GTX and everything.

EDIT: battery life does NOT suck.

3 hours ish for doing typical windows stuff and about 2 hours gaming.
