DeanoC leaves Ninja Theory ...

It's a bit late, but hope the new job is working out. Feel free to come back to B3D... your input was highly valued by a great many of us.

If they never made Elite II & III (Frontier and First Encounters) then they'd have no problem getting a publisher.

A shame really as Elite II being tripe was more down to Konami forcing them to release it than any lack of talent.

D'oh! Forgot we already had 3 since being on PC only (I was still an Amiga user at the time) it effectively didn't exist for me.

And of course, best wishes to DeanoC on his current project as well as any future iterations of Elite.

Well, let's hope The Outsider finally finds a publisher (or that Frontier announces it found one) and that the final version features a jump button unlike some other game.

:p

More seriously, let's wish good luck to DeanoC on his new coding endeavour at Frontier. Let's also all hope that he will use his jedi mind tricks on the management and make the overdue sequel to Elite to finally emerge from its neverending development limbo!

"Platform: Next-Gen"

Does that mean that they target the generation after this, or do they still call this generation next-gen (which would be strange considering that the 360 has been out for more than 2 years now!)

It's been like that since before the Xbox360 & PS3 were released & so i'd imagine the website hasn't been updated yet..

Doesn't make sense to anyways until a definite platform has been locked down..
