David Jaffe's PS3 game

I figured It should be posted I guess. On David Jaffe's blog he states that hes put Project HL (the psp game he was working on) on hold, and has been working on a PS3 game for about 7 months so far. The game is not an epic GOW3 or anything (and not twisted metal either), but on a smaller scale and should be out between November 06 and January of 07.

Our new game should be out in the next few months...between November and January, depending on a handful of factors. Not sure when marketing is going to break the news but I'll tell you all about it as soon as I can.

As for the game, I can tell you, it's NOT HL. That game is- for the moment- on the shelf.

The core reason is that it was very ambitious and so was/is WarHawk. The same developer is making both games (with some key members shared between both games) so Scott (head of Incog) and I said: fuck it. We'll do HL later...maybe.

This was about 6-7 months ago and we're almost at Alpha! It's totally NOT a game like HL was going to be, or GOD OF WAR for that matter. It has stuff in common with TWISTED METAL, BOMBERMAN, and...well, a few other things that I ain't gonna talk about yet!

theres also so some other small hints on he leaves about what the game will be like
-probably 1080p
-small scale like an arcade game
-the price wont be a full ps3 game price (maybe downloadable)
-online game

Instead of heading back to Kratos, however, Jaffe has dived head first into a PlayStation 3 game, with apparent similarities to Twisted Metal and Bomberman. The game hasn't been officially announced yet, though Jaffe estimates a release date sometime between November and January -- a surprise launch game, perhaps? His comments don't seem to put it out of the question.
