What do you do with old dead hard drives? How about making them into stuff like an oscilloscope, a clock, speakers or a miniature generator. I remember that guy who made a coffee table a few years ago using only old dead hard drives. That was pretty cool.

Arn't HD platters made with some really nasty substances? I remember a lawsuit in the US where workers sued and won, because the HD company didn't take proper saftey measures and some workers got cancer.
