Can the Wii U be saved?

I'm going to be overly pessimistic and say the following quite bluntly, "Nothing".
In order to save off pure disaster, Nintendo needs a sharp price drop ($200 range for the Deluxe), a massive influx of must-have software titles, a console firmware updates that remove most of the complete horribleness that is their current dashboard, and updates to their online experience that actually provides something that is on-par with PSN. Preferably they would also have to make their Wuublet not completely suck for battery life.

Yeah... How about suggestions that wouldn't cause Nintendo's stock to immediately go into free fall from losses.
I would have said nothing too, but The Wind Waker for Wii U looks so goddamn gorgeous that we will have to see.
Besides, the serious questions how long will it take before we see a mass push of HD remakes of Nintendo games on the Wii U?

It's the brashness of youth. Is it really that big a deal? The thread will float off the first page soon enough.
...And I think talking about if the wuu can be saved or not is a little bit premature at this stage. Let's give it a few more months to try and establish itself, shall we? 2nd quarter sales figures will start to show where things are headed; even hough the summer months are of course the slowest of all for games and consoles we can still compare relative to PS360.
