My girlfriend and I just bought Carcassonne to play yesterday. It's a tile-based board game where you use strategy elements to grab land. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and there's a fair number of expansion packs available too.
I was wondering if anyone could add any non-electronic/sport games they enjoy, such as card games or board games (or anything else I've missed)? I really enjoy them, especially since they're mostly timeless (with the exception of trivia games). I imagine one day I can pull out Carcassonne with my kids... you can't really say the same thing about computer games, since they tend to age horribly.
Another I really like is Uno. Pure classic, just bring the deck wherever you go and you're set for fun!
I also looked into the World of Warcraft board game. This looks overpriced but I'm curious to see how it works.
