So they decided to back off a little on their draconian DRM stance. That's good, gives certain people a little less reason to pour hate on this format. 
Also, wasn't it HP who put down an ultimatum saying something like, 'support this, or we jump ship'? Seems that tactic paid out!

Actually HP may be supporting both formats now. No more exclusive BR support.

Perhaps MMC will be enough for HP to stay in the BR camp? Perhaps BR will give something back to HP? Maybe HP is just rattling sabers.
Anyhow I don't see BR adopting iHD when what they have seems technically superior. Why go backwards?
