Bios update??

Can someone tell me how to uppgrade the bios ona A7V8X(asus), i´m running windows XP and can´t create or even format a disk, what am i doing wrong?

I have neither an A7V8X or XP, but I believe that you can't create pure DOS boot disks in XP? Since they want to ditch DOS, I suppose. Anyway, if flashing the BIOS requires a clean DOS boot (as was the case until quite recently, but I know that nowadays you can often do it in Windows) I guess you'll have to create a boot disk on a computer with a more antique OS...

you can create a pure Dos Bootdisk within WinXP
just select "MS-Dos Bootdisk"

or... download one from www.bootdisk.com

Thanks, that problem have bugged me for awhile(i thought my old disk´s was broken).
Ok i will try that and if there are more problem i let you guys know.
