Why not try that benchmark software posted above, seems to make things easier. Free Trial version.
First off, if Far Cry has a stable benchmarking mode would you like to see it used in potential upcoming performance tests?
How does it work and how does it output the results? I'm interested. 8)Ratchet said:I have a big cludgy batch file made if anyone is interested
Thanks! You publishing it over at Bjorn? If not I'd be happy to give it a home and pimpage for ya. 8)The Baron said:I'm writing a guide. Should be posted tonight or tomorrow.
I don't think you can, at least not with the current versions of Far CryThe Baron said:I'm going to have to figure out how the hell to record gunfire.
I've noticed, but I have a few ideas.Ratchet said:I don't think you can, at least not with the current versions of Far CryThe Baron said:I'm going to have to figure out how the hell to record gunfire.

I didn't say it was impossible, I said I didn't think you could.The Baron said:Hah, I was right.
And you said you couldn't record gunfire. Oh, ye of little faith.
not easily, unless there's a simple tool out there that will report core/mem clocks in a way I can extract uisng the batch file (I'm simply using a dump of dxdiag to get that stuff).anaqer said:Ratchet said:Here's an example of what the output looks like: http://www.rage3d.com/temp/ratchet/farcry_aiw9600xt.txt
Ratchet, would it be possible to add gpu/mem clocks to the report files?
