Being Objective rather than Subjective

I think it is important that people who post about technology are not hampered by subjective motivations that may harm progress that affects a lot of people when the products are released. It is in light of this, that I am providing a short list of people who have responded to my posts and some of their motivations. It is not accurate 100% because some may just simply have ulterior motives, and if that is the case you can simply look through their posts to know their true motivations. I prefer objective posts rather than those that are paid to post subjective leanings. I think some have multiple accounts and if you look at the times of their posts they simply use two browser windows to talk to themselves to discuss a product.

It is important to note that it is the trend nowadays for powerful companys (like Microsoft?) that have a lot of money, so they hire lots of people to post on the different forums and blogs, and even have control of a lot of sites either directly or indirectly. It becomes part of the marketing budget. Money, unfortunately affects a lot of things, and through power, money is gotten, and through money, power is achieved. Unfortunately absolute power corrupts absolutely, and in this light, I hope attention is brought to this matter.

Ok here is the list (if you are categorized wrong, feel free to provide your input, I only skimmed though some that responed to my posts):

PS3:
Arwin, Delta9, Shadowrunner, Prophecy2k, Patsu, Crossbar, Refeshment, Shift Geezer, Obnocius, Semitope, Fehu, From Tiger

Note for the people above, some simply take sides with PS3 because they are in the UK, and the CEO (UK citizen) of PS3 is sending a lot of technology and development projects to the UK (I may be wrong on this).

iPhone/Imagine Tech: wco81, Laxy8s, Urian

PC: Mobius1aic

PS3 Haters (XB360 supporters): AzBat, Zed, Ranges, Squilliam, Rom, RobertR1, Eastmen

Microsoft Haters (PS3 supporters):
Brit, Scotty_ARM, Nesh, Corduryst

There are some that I didn't mention, and they mostly attack me rather than the content of my posts, so...

Why post the above? Because I rarely see them supporting a good idea or technology objectively if it goes counter to their primary motivations (in the above list). Or they simply support a bad idea or technology simply because they are profit motivated. What do you think? Is this helpful? If not, just ignore this post.

Honestly, I think you're mislabeling alot of the posters on your list.

While some may have a particular bias towards one platform, that doesn't necessarily mean they are haters nor does it mean that they are not justified in their criticisms. People are not static objects incapable of changing.

This was the usefull part. A thread with a discussion about this subject with lots of "evidence" examples etc would have been very interesting...

I am btw., one of the Microsoft haters, add me to the list. But i find the 360 to be a very good piece of hardware (not build quality of course) and a fantastic executed gaming platform. And i prefer Windows 7 over Mac and does whatever i can in my professional job to avoid Microsoft products.. :)

This contravenes B3D regulation #034 (not to be mistaken by Internet rule 34 mind you). These procedings are closed (obviously).
