>1.8ghz for >12 tf with 52CUs. Arden (56CUs) is obviously the devkit. They will deactivate CUs for the retail unit. Same as XBX retail / devkit sdk.
3584 ops/clock/shader means 56 CUs active.

Thats not how any of this works. If you aren't competing on power you never release specs, why would you? People always have to reverse engineer the specs from nintendo consoles for this reason.
The only thing that works for some is 13TF or bust.
Sure. Arden is the devkit.3584 ops/clock/shader means 56 CUs active.
If we include the special sauce it's effectively 13TF balanced at 9.2
The importance of raw power in a console has zero importance to me, it is not going to happen anyway. As for PS5, the thing it has going for it are exclusives, which more and more of are appearing on namely pc anyways. /care about what kind of hardware it will have. That and the HW will grow old anyway over time. Just get the brand you like and be happy.

Not relevant to Sony consoles. PS4 devkit has same amount of activated CUs than retail console. I am just using historical precedence for XBX applied to XSX.Ok, that means the PS5 is 32CUs active. 8.2TF.
I'm pretty jazzed about these next gen personally. They will be beasts, the SSD stuff is really exciting, should be a sea change hopefully. I hope everything is super fluid, Xbox Ui on One is choppy as hell for example. Vs my PC which is running a 4 core CPU and RX 570, it'll easily be the most powerful machine in my house. It will grow old I guess, but if they do mid gen refreshes again, that helps a lot.
Zen (16 fire threads vs current 8 weakling) and SSD as a base=yay.
IIRC since we're going on this merry-go-round again:Are you guys just playing around or is there info I missed, or forgot, that has Arden being the devkit at 56CU's?
no worries, we have pages of complete noise that go on for 20-30 pages or soThanks. Thought I had missed something. I lose track with the various rumors/ leaks/ speculation.
They get most of the major releases. I think if you look at the chart toppers for PS4 in Japan, they most likely get an Xbox release, at least eventually. Why just focus on exclusives, though? I wonder how many games that ended up multiplatform would have ended up being PlayStation exclusives if MS hadn't stayed engaged with the Japanese development community.
