It's official, and IGN has the first screenshots....

the first game was absolutely gorgeous, let's hope they can improve on the already great engine for this second instalment....

The game is not being made by the same team, but it appears the sequel is using exactly the same engine as the first one. In the meantime Snowblind is working on an action RPG game for PS2 based on Everquest characters and universe.
