ATI licenses Fast14 tech for 'dynamic logic' from Intrinsity

My question is, what do you think the 'dynamic logic' pertains to as far as ATI's product line goes?

Maybe some cool logic to implement dynamic sample masks for a new AA implementation?

I'm clutching at straws and the article is a little vague. Anyone have an idea what the tech is likely to be used for?

Dynamic logic, is it some kind of FPGA stuff? Why would anyone need to LICENSE that btw, to my knowledge the actual tech isn't covered by any patents... There are several manufacturers of FPGAs after all.
