ATI dx9-demos on GFFX

Has anyone tried ATI's dx9 demos on the FX yet? Perhaps I just missed it. Brent, have you tried?

(I'm assuming the latest Dets are dx9.)

What about vice-versa? Anyone know if the GFFX demos, like dawn and "yeah the movie" will run on R300.. etc :D

Are those dx9? I believe the ATI demos should run on any dx9 chip, whereas I wouldn't be surprised if the NV demos use OGL and proprietary extensions.

I thin the nV demos are using some phat shaders as well. The 'yeah the movie' has some very impressive skin, and clothing effects done. If they run on the R300 I presume it would be with a large performance penalty.

Agreed, I remember ATi saying that R300 can do multi-pass loop-backs to emulate what the NV30 is doing.. However, i would still think its interesting as we can see what performance differences there are :)
