I got 4850 connected via HDMI to a Bravia. I was playing some movie on VLC or any other Media Player, switched channel to something else and returned to that channel again, I had lost audio while picture still running. I had to restart the media player to get audio back.
Using the latest driver. Is this a known problem ? Is there any solution ?
Sadly this is not my only problem I got other problems with this HDMI, but start with this one seems to be the easiest to fix.
Other useful info: the HDMI cable is fine I checked it with PS3. With PS3 media playback, I can switched channels and return to it and just fine, so I am really curious why the 4850 HDMI is losing audio.
