Asus p4p800-x

Hello I have a question about this board and the Asus ct-479 adapter.
I've tried to look everywhere but i cannot find any information about it.

I personally have a p4p800, and I can easily flash it with a bios from the p4p800E or p4c800, to gain compatibily with the converter, (or also with it's own newest beta bios)

But a friend of mine got the p4p800-x board, which has the same chipset (865PE), and it's not compatible right away.

1)Do you know if the p4p800-x can work with the bios of any other Asus boards?

2) do you know any high quality general hardware forum (like beyond3d is for 3d), where i can possibli get the answer?

Thanks, but what i was looking for is, unofficial informations.
Asus will never tell you, just flash the bios of the p4p800-E on a p4p800 Deluxe, to make it work better !
