Heh for a sec I figured it must be Australian dollar or something but I guess it really isn't. That seems rather expensive even if it is a convenient 1.0 revision board.

The guys who make that Xbox "Turbo" mod don't really improve anything major, so I'm not sure what any mods like this would do either. Disadvantage of being a locked-spec platform; no developers use anything but EXACTLY what the unit ships with.

I guess it would make it a much better Linux mod, though.

You can upgrade to a 16X drive so the game loads faster....

Anyhow, looking at Xbox motherboard and comparing it to latest PSX2 motherboards, I can see why MS has no love for current Xbox and is so eager to replace it with Xbox Next. It costs $$$$$ to build something that complex..

That wouldn't exactly be the way i'd put it, but yeah I agree... Oh and i wouldn't use "PSX2"
