Nice ss's what config did you use for them? (Crysis dx9 and Salker, the lighting does look good!)


For Stalker the following.

I have the POM mod, this one.

I then modified the file mblur.h in the shader folder. The change levels the lighting out and add a soft blurring that does a great job in hiding jaggies.I change it from default 12 to 16.

And then custom effect library with better effects, explosions etc. None of the screenshots shows it though but blowing up a car looks like the old E3 explosions and better. Try it, its beta but way better than original.

You need to add teh -DEVMODE parameter to the games shortcut.

What a PC can do and CryEngine 2 is just f*cking unbelievable. same specs and settings as in previous post (E8400 +HD4870).

Just to confirm, thats the settings you used for this particular screenshot right? (taking into account the custom map and other crap). Its just its the most realistic lighting I've seen from a Crysis jungle shot.

Shots are taken from the Collectors Editiion which has an extra "Elite GFX" disc which has some higher res textures (haven`t noticed a big difference to standard so far though) - overall the game is a whopping 19,5 gig install !

I have changed from Elite to Standard textures now because I got graphics errors after a while of playing and the system became unstable. I guess there is a bug when the game has to handle full graphics RAM.

E8400 +HD4870 stock, 4GB RAM and Vista X64. Running Warhead in DX9 mode, very high for all settings + increased LODs. Slight change to r_SSAO_darkening from 0.075 to 0.125 and r_HDRLevel from 0.6 to 0.75. Cant believe how good this looks out of box default, simple breathtaking. And on top of that a nice perfomance boost.

This graphics is borderline criminal, PCs really have come a long way... and in motion its so much better words cant describe it.... stunned....amazing gameplay so far, possibly FPS game of the generations. Improvements on all fronts, textures, animations effects (wowowow) and more. Fuck I'll open my wallet anytime for Crysis products.

Some more of Sacred 2...the game is really massive, tons of different graphic sets - now I understand the large install - there is something new around every corner and I have discovered only about 20% of the map....

Crysis, Custom config, No aa & No AF @ 1280x1024 With a single 8800GT.

Framerate is between 35 and 50fps and its never been below 30 :)
